Friends

In August, 1996, I participated in the 2-day "RSVP"* bicycle ride from
Seattle to Vancouver, BC, approximately 130 miles away. This
picture was taken the morning of the start of the ride, near the
University of Washington. We got rained on - heavily - both days, but
the ride was a lot of fun, and at the end of both days we were greeted
with clear weather! (I'm second from the left.)

* RSVP = "Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party!"

 
My friend Dennis is a native of San Diego. I brought him with me on a
visit to Seattle in June, 1999.
He had never been to Seattle; the weather gods sensed this and exhibited
their supreme cloud-making powers the whole time we were there.
The picture on the right is taken from the Space Needle's observation deck.

This is Dan and Dave, friends of mine. Dan now lives in Seattle and Dave is in
Thousand Oaks, CA. In October, 1998 we all drove out to Death Valley for some
sight-seeing. While we were there it was only about 85 degrees, but walking on the hot
sand really dried us out. Where's the beer, man?
